Anthropology definitely has a good scope in India. Few of the career fields which you can explore with the degree in Anthropology are: teaching, research wok, working with organization like Archaeological Survey of India, the Planning Commission as well as international organizations like the United Nation’s UNESCO or UNICEF etc.
However, I would like to add here that the most important thing which you need to keep in mind while choosing your stream is your own interests and career aspirations so in case you think that this is the stream you want to make your career in then go ahead.
