Eligibility Criteria for admission to degree engineering, the candidate shall have passed HSCE (std. XII, 10+ 2 pattern) in Science Stream with 45% marks for Open (40% for SC/ST/SEBC) in theory only or theory and practical with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio

Parul University is also one of the reputed colleges in Gujarat. You can do petroleum from there. There will be no trouble. Don't worry.

If you want to do petroleum engineering, the best option is UPES Dehradun. Parul university is also a good university but the best known university for the same would be UPES as far my knowledge.

Hello Krishnaraj, Petroleum Engineering is one of the highest paying engineering branch and if you opt for it, definitely, in the future, you will be getting a good job. But, choose your college wisely.
