NC State University has 22 Division I varsity programs that raise the bar. As an anchor of the legendary Athletic Coast Conference, the university has a long tradition of exciting athletics. Furthermore, the university offers club and intramural sports in many sports such as cricket, ballroom dance, sailing, ice hockey, and Quidditch, to name a few. Over 40 club sports, more than 20 league sports, and 20 special events are conducted every year by the university.
