How are B.Sc placements at NBU?

<p>Though the B.Sc placements in North Bengal University (NBU) cannot stand against that of technical or professional courses, it surely provides some opportunities, especially in fields related to Science and research. The following factors underlie the overall placement scenario:<br><br>Specialization: Among different streams of B.Sc, Computer Science, Environmental Science and Biotechnology are now considered to be having a high promise in placement, as compared to other fields. The other fields are mainly Physics and Chemistry-they have a little different approach and an inclination of both higher studies and research positions.<br><br>Internships and Research Opportunities: NBU has also provided opportunities to students for internships or research collaboration, which can make them better prepared for employability. The placement rate may not be as high as in technical institutes, but it still houses certain exposure with industry professionals.<br><br>Postgraduate Studies: Several B.Sc. graduates from NBU pursue M.Sc. or other professional courses.
