The placement scenario for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at HBTU Kanpur is not very good, with a low placement percentage. Some years, only 7 students out of 35 were placed, with packages ranging from 4-6 Lacs per annum. However, the package can be good, averaging around 5-6 Lacs per annum. It's also mentioned that the number of companies visiting the campus has decreased to less than 50, and many branches, including Electrical, haven't crossed the 50% placement mark.
