How are faculty at LPU?

Hi! Being an LPU alumnus. I'd want to point out that faculty members at LPU work tirelessly to ensure that their students excel in their chosen industries and careers. LPU is made up of the brightest professors from IIMs, IITs, and other top B schools. The majority of the faculty members have or are working toward a Ph.D. One of the most intriguing aspects is that LPU has just introduced an app through which students may submit their problems and teachers can publish debates or other materials. I believe this is the ideal platform for students to discuss anything with their faculty members at any time. LPU has also partnered with international faculty members, giving students the opportunity to interact with them. I hope that was of assistance.

As an alumni of Lovely Professional University, I should refrain from passing judgement on the capability index of LPU faculty members. Rather, in response to your inquiry, I am sharing some facts and data. Lovely Professional University has over 2000 faculty members that are both experienced and well-qualified. 2) In the majority of situations, faculty members were not only alumni of prominent Indian institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, and IIMS, but also had completed their studies at premier international universities. 3) Almost all of the faculty members have earned a Ph.D. from an international university, and the majority of them have also earned post-doctoral degrees. 4) Faculty members have an average of 7 years of teaching and industry experience. 5) They assist students not only in the theoretical but also in the practical elements of their studies, thanks to the cutting-edge technological laboratories accessible at LPU. 6) LPU professors have a very warm and helpful demeanour. Hii there, I have been studying at LPU for the past 2 years and till now my experience with faculty members has been immensely great, professors there are humble and always ready to help. I have taken their help uncountable times, like whenever I used to face any issue I used to take doubt clearing classes. And no professors have problems with this, there are always ready to give extra classes besides these professors there are highly qualified. Most of them are from IITs, Iims, IIITs, and NIITs as well. And most of them are PhDs. They are not just faculty members but are mentors to students. Faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. As per my own experience, and being a student of LPU I can proudly say that faculty member at LPU gives their 100% to the development of students. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members on the industry and the latest needs. There is also special training given to them regarding updates and changes in the industry. Faculty members are just like our mentors. They help us grow by becoming our friends. I hope this helps. The faculty of LPU is well qualified. All the UGC norms are taken into consideration at the time of recruitment. They all have studied at the reputed institutes of the country and are well-performing in the task of imparting education. The faculty are also the mentors of the students. They guide the students regarding any of their problems so that they don't feel left out at the university away from home. Most of them are doctorates while others are pursuing. They also publish research papers every six months so that they are abreast of the latest studies in the field. The teaching is an interactive learning process so that it brings holistic development to the student. If a student reports to the management about the bad behavior or lack of skills in teaching, the teacher is removed from teaching and another teacher is employed in the class.

I was a B.Tech CSE student at LPU so I can clear your doubt towards the faculty. In simple words, I can say that LPU provides you the best of everything and the education level is very good in the university and they take classes for improving communication skills also. LPU focus on practicals a lot they have BYOD (Bring your own device) classes so that students can learn easily and they have MAC lab for IOS development and many more. Each year LPU improves one new technology by taking feedback from the student they know what students need. Now move to your question all professors are highly qualified and experienced. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims, etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and enough amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. LPU always takes feedback at the end of every semester about the faculty members if students are facing any problem regarding faculty they can complain. No need to worry about the faculty members as per my experience LPU gives their 100% in choosing faculty.

Hi, There are around 2000 faculty members in the university. They have experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. Around 370 M.Tech qualified, 23 M. Phils and 724 Ph.D. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. The faculty members have been going to foreign university for Teaching and research projects. Check International Tie-up directory for names&get; They believe in continuous and over all development of our faculty. So we conduct faculty development programmes on regular basis. Our faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level They have recruited faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 73 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also.

To my experience, Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. BBA or MBA is something that is completely relatable to your surroundings, it's a management thing. If you say marketing is a specialisation in MBA then marketing is all around us. And how you are able to relate the content in books and the content around you is a task. To get this level of thinking, you need to broaden your thoughts, you need to be a part of brainstorming activities and you have to start learning from your surroundings. And this is where the role of faculty members or environment or university is help upon. As per my personal experience, I am able to observe such a level of thinking in a Management guy from Lovely Professional University. Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student to faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Hence one could go Government UGC site to be able to understand more details on this. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes. The curriculum is tough at times, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. Most of the faculty members here have a Ph.D. degree, and some of them have tier post-graduate degree qualifications. Their way of teaching is excellent, and they are very helpful. They are always ready to help students. They prepare the students according to the industry demand. Well there are three things that comes to my mind when it comes to LPU faculty 1. Experienced 2. Well learnt 3. Ever ready to help LPU comprises more than 20 schools that provide 200 plus programs in engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, social Science, hotel management having an extra edge in curriculum and facilities with the best staff and faculty. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. LPU has 4000 plus faculty members.
