In St. Xavier's College, Calcutta, we have a placement cell where students can register themselves. Many companies come to our college for recruitment, registered students get notifications according to their stream & subjects. Then one can give exam(if there any) & interview. Some leading news channel has taken student in past years also other companies got PR officers, content writer etc. Names of some companies who recruit are Viacom 18, Ogilvy, Sony India, Adidas, Cognizant, Google, etc. Also, recent graduated MCVians are working in many production houses, leading newspapers such as The Telegraph, TOI etc and in some lea...more
