I am a student of Chitkara university from the Mass Communication department. Chitkara University has its campus in two places, one in Baddi and the other one in Rajpura. The Rajpura campus is huge and beautiful and also provides a galaxy of courses. Mainly, the university varsity is known for its MBA and engineering courses. There is a lot of practical exposure. Not only this, the facility of the university is also very much helpful, they put in a lot of effort into making children understand the topics and clear their doubts happily and motivate them to perform better. The university provides an ample amount of opportunities for placements and for internships call. However, it completely depends upon the students how much they would like to grab these opportunities and make it beneficial for them. The infrastructure of the University is very good and healthy. There are multiple food courts, ATM machines, stationery shops, photocopying. There's a well built cafeteria. On monthly basis there are seminars, educational trips, guest lectures, workshops which eventually promote the growth and participation of the students and also incorporates in building the confidence and the skills of public dealing. The main issue that students find difficult in University is the school uniform and attendance. Their attendance needs to be a minimum of 75% in all the subjects which gets too much headache for the students. Also, weekly 34 assignments does sometimes becomes stressful for students.
