How are LPU and SRM University for 5-year law course?

Both the Universities are good on their own grounds for Law course, but the law programmes in LPU are approved by Bar Council of India, School of Law is one of the best Law colleges in India and Punjab. To get direct admission B.A. LL.B. In Top Colleges, you should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks. Intermediate passed candidates can apply for an integrated course in law. The selection of the candidates is offered through written tests and interviews. But it varies from University to University. One of the pros of pursuing B.A. LL.B. Is the learning opportunities that prepare you to pursue a law profession in the corporate sector. Corporate sectors also include various distinguished law firms as well, where a graduate may receive a lucrative package. Although there are various Universities that offer this course, But I must advise one can go for University that offers this course with varies exposure, I. e. Lovely Professional University. For taking admission in LPU, students need to qualify in LPU NEST Exam. Dear Annum, Being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of the law programme at LPU as one of my friends did the same from LPU and now working in a law firm. The School of Law is governed and regulated by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and its curriculum is also provided by BCI and in order to make students top-to-date and the latest trends in the field of law, the School of Law takes initiatives to modify the curriculum as and when the need arises. Students have undergone internships at various High Courts, law firms, law chambers, commissions, corporate houses and NGOs. The Alumni's are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners and Corporate advisors and Civil servants. In addition to this, MOOT court sessions are also provided to experience the scenario of courts. A Few of the Salient Features of programme are: BCI Approved Curriculum: Curriculum is in accordance with Bar Council of India (BCI) norms. Workshops: Workshops/Seminars on computer applications and client interaction is an important aspect of the curriculum. Visits: Practical exposure through Moot Courts, District Court and Legal Aid Clinics visit. LPU provides Experiential learning by Regular Open House Discussions to generate awareness about contemporary issues to identify corresponding legal challenges and implications. Effective learning, according to LPU, occurs outside of the classroom. As a result, students are motivated to augment their classroom learning by engaging in specially organized moot court and debate competitions. SRM University, Delhi- NCR, Sonipat is located in ideal place, which has tremendous access. Doing a law programme in NCR has larger advantage then doing a programme in remote location, Delhi has from Supreme Court to Local court, and large number of corporates and law firms. People all across India come to National capital for obtaining higher education.

LPU is better for pursuing LAW. It is approved by BCI. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Annu, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty, some of them had been practising lawyers of High Courts and respectable Supreme Court as well. Students are given a lot of practical knowledge by regularly taking them on visits to court and jail premises as well as they are made to participate in moot courts. Apart from this, they are also sent on internship wherein they get a chance to learn the nuances of the field under the guidance of practising lawyers. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students. The curriculum taught incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes.
