How are Mechanical labs at LPU. What are the latest equipments in the labs.

Mechanical engineering is known as a difficult subject among students but it provides great career opportunities. It applies the materials Science principle, engineering, Physics and engineering mathematics to design, study, fabricate and maintain mechanical systems. Mechanical engineering is indeed one of the oldest engineering disciplines. However, students who want to have excellent education and placement support should choose the best college. Here I would like to share my own experience with LPU. You have to be highly driven and hard working to get admission to this course. LPU is one of the best colleges for studying Mechanical engineering and other fields. The college equally focuses on all the areas, students and their placement. I heard lots of good stuff about this college before joining it and I found them true when I became a part of LPU. The college has tie-ups with many renowned names in the industry and companies like TCS, Amdocs, Verizon, IBM, Google, Amazon, Capgemini, Microsoft and many other regularly visit to find skilled candidates for various job opportunities. You will get great exposure and huge academic support being a part of Lovely Professional University. Extracurricular activities, cultural events, project-based learning, training and internship, entrepreneurship, on job training, celebrity events, and other events are a regular part of LPU education. LPU has highly qualified and experienced teachers on board for providing quality education to students. The best thing I like about LPU is that every semester, the curriculum is updated. The faculty members are easily approachable all through the week to help students have better guidance and support for exam success. All faculty members in LPU are specialised in their respective area that can help students to increase their knowledge, help build up their task and project, guide them in educational as well as personal problems. Most of these faculty members are IITian and they are experienced in training and educating students. LPU offers world-class education and facilities to students including spacious hostel, classroom, LAB, library, curriculum, and infrastructure. There are many prospects after completing Mechanical engineering from this institute.

Unilab, the mechanical testing lab of LPU established under the School of Civil Engineering has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). I would like to capture your attention on the mechanical labs at LPU. The Advance Machine Shop provide knowledge regarding various machining operations like die making, Pattern making, Programing and Cutting tools on/using for VMC and turning ect. Computer Aided Manufacturing Laboratory also helps the students will learn to develop part geometry & develop. Iterate, simulate and finalize the form and function. Automobile Eng. Lab provide knowledge about various systems of automobile, like suspension, differential, steering assembly, various types of braking systems, engine internal cut out set. IC Engine lab provide knowledge to students about the working, testing and practical analysis of Internal combustion engines including Mores test and performance of reciprocating compressor.

The following are some of the labs available at LPU: Industrial Automation And Robotics Lab The lab is designed for exposure in the field of automation and robotics by working on various pneumatic systems and CNC machines. Electrical And Electronics Lab Electrical Machines Lab Digital VLSI Design Lab State-of-the-art Industry version EDA Tools from Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics, and Xilinx & Altera FPGA Development Kits, Verilog, VHDL Design & Simulation Tools. There are more labs and you can check them out on their official website.
