The overall GRE score is based on three sections: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing. The Verbal and Quantitative portions are assessed on a scale of 130-170 in one-point increments, while Analytical Writing is graded on a scale of 0-6 in half-point increments. The Verb

Overall GRE scores are calculated by adding your Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores.

Each section ranges from 130 to 170. Total score falls between 260 and 340. Analytical Writing score (1.0-6.0) is reported separately and not included in total.
