B.Pharma Is an undergraduate four years course (approved by PCI) which is a pre-requisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist. It imparts skills to work in industry, clinical set ups, drug control organizations, education and research sectors in pharmaceuticals Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English Physics Chemistry and Biology or Maths or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) The School of Pharmaceutical Science (LPU) is approved by the Pharmacy council of India. Hi there, I am a student at LPU and when I saw your question, I wanted to tell you about it so I did some research and got this answer for you. LPU is good because of its good faculty, great placements every year, excellent infrastructure. Placements: Almost 90% of the students get placed in B.Pharma. 2-The highest salary is13 Lacs per annum, the average salary is 8-9 Lacs per annum. 3-Sun Pharma is the top recruiting company. 4-Roles are offered in the field of Sales & Marketing, Hospital Pharmacy, Medical Representative. 5- 85% of students got internships from Pharmacy companies like Sun Pharma, Oniosome Healthcare, Micro Labs, Ajanta Pharma, Lupin, TTK healthcare, Cryoviva, ABBESS Healthcare OPC Pvt. Ltd. Infrastructure: 1-The infrastructure of the university as well as the hostel is top class and the university is being awarded for the same. The whole university is having a Wi-Fi connection including the hostel. Labs, Libraries, Classrooms are fully well-equipped with the necessary equipment. 2-The quality of facilities in the hostel is good. The quality of food in mess and canteen is good. There is one university hospital inside the University and 2 ambulances in case of emergency. There are 2 gyms inside the university and one Olympic size swimming pool and a badminton court inside the university. There are various basketball courts inside the university. Faculty: 1-The teachers in this university are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are professional regarding their course. 2-The course curriculum is relevant and it helps to gain theoretical as well as practical knowledge regarding the pharmaceutical field. The best thing about B.Pharma is that you can serve society and earn some money as well. Various Events like One World, One India, Youth Vibe, Coke Studio, Campus Princess are held every year in the university so that you can excel in extracurricular activities also.
