How are placement in automobile engineering? I'm thinking to join automobile engineering in DSCE.

My question is how well does students get placed in top companies? Do they get placed in core companies?

    Placements are fairly good for almost all departments. The top core companies do come for recruitments but the getting in part depends on the person's performance in the process.

    The average package is fairly mediocre being 3.5 LPA and median being 4.5 LPA. Placement ratio has hovered round 75% approximately on an average.
    Majorly, automobiles sector is prominent recruiters with various offers in technical roles and some in associated management roles.
    Some companies have offered marketing and sales roles plus logistics portfolios as well for automobiles branch.
    Some of them are also placed with mass recruiters like Accenture and Infosys for IT roles.
    The companies where students have got placed in the previous five years are mentioned below:
