Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Science's faculty is filled with PHds with a lot of work experience. The faculty is a mix of Indian as well as foreign teachers. The placement in Thapar is regulated by CILP. It arranges campus interviews for placement of final year students of all branches by inviting various Public Sector and Private organisation. A data base of organizations is available with CILP which is continuously updated.

Since electrical engineering itself does not have a whopping marked demand like computers or mechanical, it is difficult for the course to generate good placements. Faculty throughout the university is very well qualified.
