    Biotechnology is a fast-growing field with many job options like pharma, agriculture, food, and healthcare. At Chandigarh University, the placement record for biotechnology is encouraging. In 2025, around 69% of biotechnology students got placed. About 20–25 companies visited the campus, including pharma, biotech, and IT firms.

    The average package offered was around Rs 5.5 LPA, while the highest package reached Rs 8 LPA. Many students got roles in research, diagnostics, and biopharmaceutical companies. Internships and university tie-ups with global firms also help students get better exposure. Some students also prefer higher studies

    Placements are strong with wide range of opportunities. University approaches around 700 recruiter. There is very high chance to get placemant after completing your graduation
