Dear Ritika, The placements at LPU for the fashion designing programme are good. The highest package offered for these programmes at LPU is INR 5 LPA and the average package is INR 3.1 LPA. Companies visited for the placement at LPU are SOCKSOHO, IKARUS 3D, AMPLE, SAMARTH LIFESTYLE, WORLD FASHION EXCHANGE, INDITEX TRENT RETAIL INDIA PVT LTD, RELIANCE BRANDS, DA MILANO LEATHERS PVT. LTD. , PVH ARVIND FASHION PVT. LTD. (CALVIN KLEIN & TOMMY HILFIGER), and many more. LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Lovely Professional University's School of Fashion Designing is doing outstanding job in the domain of design. They arrange Fashion Shows for the students on a regular basis. It provides pupils with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their talent in front of a large audience. The events will also include prominent designers. So, surely it is a big opportunity university is providing to the students in Lpu. The infrastructure for the practical works is very excellent in the university. Students can enjoy the course curriculum which has given more importance to practical knowledge. Scholarships are one other significance. Students can avail scholarships based on their score in qualifying exams or according to the performance on University tests. Anyhow you can enjoy the campus and course here and can excel in the field once you are completing the course. Experimental Design And Production Students are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept that looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. She told me Study tours are an integral part of curriculum with visitation of architectural and prominent sites provides maximum exposure to learn technicalities of architecture. She said. Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lecturers from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the students creations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colours. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step.
