LPU is best for MBA in all terms accredited by ACBSP which is a US body. LPU has been ranked as 5th amongst other universities for its placements. The highest placement here has been 1 crore for CSE and agriculture till dates. You can go for it without any doubts. For MBA the highest offered has been 16.6 lacs per annum till date. Avg placements for MBA are between 4-5 lacs per annum. Marketing is a better specialisation than others, second comes finance, business analytics and then HR and then so on.

Sampreet Kaur · Answer

For MBA, placement opportunities at LPU are fairly broad, with companies hiring for roles in areas such as sales, marketing, HR, finance and business analysis. The course also includes industry exposure through internships, live projects and industry interaction. For dress code, formal and professional clothing is generally expected for interviews and corporate activities. Between HR and marketing, neither is automatically better. HR suits those interested in people and recruitment, while marketing fits students who enjoy communication, sales and market-related work. Other options like finance, analytics and operations can also be considered based on interest and career plans.

Hi Jibran, The Training and Placement Unit of the Institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations. No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers. . To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field. I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Wish you luck.

LPU's MBA can offer good placement opportunities because the Mittal School of Business has a wide range of recruiters and industry-oriented specialisations. LPU currently reports 450+ recruiters, 650+ Dream and Super Dream offers, a the highest salary package of Rs 49.4 Lacs and an average package of Rs 13.60 Lacs for the top 10% of students. The university also states that around 90–95% of MBA students who are interested and eligible for placements receive placement opportunities. However, individual results depend on skills, specialisation, internships, communication and interview performance. Regarding dress code, students should maintain a neat and professional appearance, particularly during presentations, interviews, placement activities and formal events. For MBA selection activities, LPU specifically recommends professional formal attire such as a light plain shirt, dark trousers, coat and tie for the video essay. For specialisation, there is no single option that is better for every student. HR can be suitable if you enjoy working with people, recruitment, employee relations, training and organisational development. Marketing may suit students who enjoy communication, sales, branding, digital marketing and customer behaviour. LPU also offers options such as Finance, Business Analytics, Financial Consulting, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Digital Marketing, FinTech and International Business. If you are comfortable with numbers and technology, Business Analytics can be considered; if you enjoy creativity and communication, Marketing or Digital Marketing may fit better; and if you genuinely enjoy people management, HR can be a good direction. Choosing according to your strengths and career interest is more useful than simply following a popular specialisation.

udit Katiyar · Answer

MBA placements at LPU are considered good, with opportunities in banking, consulting, FMCG, IT services, and analytics, and average packages usually around ₹5–8 LPA for well-prepared students. Students follow a formal dress code during classes and presentations to build a professional environment. In terms of specialization, marketing offers wider job options and growth, HR suits those interested in people management, while finance or business analytics can be strong choices for students comfortable with numbers and data.
