Allotment of seats in LPU NEST-wise counseling will depend on the merit rank of candidates, their eligibility, and the online filling of course and specialisation preferences. The procedure consists of download rank card, filling of preferences for seats, and finally, seat allotment. Seat allotment is done as per the availability and preferences. Candidates will have to confirm the allotted seat after payment of a nominal fee and submission of required documents. The earlier a student is in applying, the better his chances of ending with a favourable seat and scholarship.

    Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

    I hope this information helps.

Dear, Lovely professional university has its own entrance test named as LPUNEST, The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who scored a higher rank will mostly get their preferred course/specialization allocation and so forth.

Once a seat is allotted in the first instance, you are required to make a nominal payment in terms of an advance payment in order to secure your seat for admission in the next steps, since the seat allotment process can iterate through several rounds. Once you have secured a seat through the payment process, you will be required to upload your documents whilst you are in the p

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s

The seat allocation during the LPU NEST counselling is done based on the LPU NEST scores. The university prepares a merit list based on the scores of the candidates in LPU NEST. Candidates with higher scores in the entrance test are given preference during seat allocation.

Dear, Yes, if you miss the first phase of LPU NEST, you can still apply for the next phase. Lovely Professional University conducts LPU NEST in multiple phases each year to give students several chances to appear for the exam and qualify for admission or scholarships. You simply need to check the updated schedule on the official LPU website and complete the registration process for the upcoming phase. However, applying in the earlier phases is recommended, as it often provides better chances for higher scholarships and early admission to preferred programs.

Dear,   The amount of time you should spend daily preparing for LPUNEST depends on your current knowledge level, the programme you are applying for, and how much time is left before the exam. On average, it is recommended to dedicate 2–4 hours daily for focused preparation over several months.

For students appearing for B.Tech or science-based programs, daily sessions can be divided into 1 hour each for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and 30 minutes for English and Aptitude, with short breaks in between. Dear, To manage time effectively during the LPU NEST exam, start by carefully reading all the instructions and understanding the question pattern before you begin. Divide your total exam time based on the number of questions—allocate a few minutes to each and avoid spending too long on any single question.

Begin with the sections or questions you find the easiest to build confidence and secure quick marks, then move on to more challenging ones. Keep track of time using the on-screen timer and make sure to leave a few minutes at the end to review your answers. Practice mock tests regularly before the exam to improve your speed and accu
