How are seats reserved to various categories for admissions to the master's degree programme at the Forest Research Institute?

<p>Forest Research Institute has divided the seats available for the Masters degree programme under the following criteria:</p><ul><li><strong>SCHEDULED CASTES AND SCHEDULED TRIBES:</strong> Fifteen percent (15%) of the total available seats shall be reserved for scheduled castes&nbsp;and seven and half percent (7.5%) for scheduled tribe candidates subject to their being otherwise suitable.\</li><li><strong>OTHER BACKWARD CLASSE (OBC): </strong>The reservation to OBC is being provided as per the policy of the Govt. of India as<br>defined by National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC).</li><li><strong>PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED: </strong>3% reservation to the persons with Disabilities under the persons with Disabilities<br> (Equal opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 Chapter<br>No. 39.</li><li><strong>IN-SERVICE CANDIDATES: </strong>Five seats shall be reserved in M.Sc. Environment Management course for in-service<br>candidates working in Government Departments/Autonomous bodies under the&nbsp;Central/State/Union Territory/ICFRE.</li><li><strong>FOREIGN NATIONALS: </strong>Reservation to the extent of 15% of the prescribed seats on supernumerary basis for<br>Foreign Nationals shall be made for admission to each M.Sc. course available in the&nbsp;Institute.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>
