To be eligible for applying for XLAT, that is, the entrance exam for law one must have an aggregate of 45% in his/her board exams and 45 in the best of four subjects at least. Your stream, that is, whether you're from science, humanities, or commerce, doesn't matter at all. And yes, you should be less than 20 years. The application form is on the official website and the application fee is around 1000 INR. The admission process takes place right after the board exams. This year it started in June.
