VIT is well known for its BTech placements. It offers good placements every year for BTech course, especially the CSE and ECE branch. The VIT Vellore CSE average package is yet to be released on the official website. Once the VIT Vellore CSE average package is released, it will be updated here. However, VIT Vellore highest package offered in 2025 stood at INR 100 LPA, whereas the VIT Vellore average package offered in 2024 stood at INR 9.90 LPA.

Various companies from both core and IT sector recruit students in ECE branch from VIT. The students are also placed in consulting companies like Deloitte, Thorogood, McKinsey and ZS Associates, etc.
