How are the faculties?

Dear Pravesh, The faculties of BTech in Computer Science and Engineering are very well qualified. My cousin is pursuing BTech in CSE at LPU itself and I did MBA at LPU. LPU has highly qualified faculty members, many are from IITs, IIMs, and NITs as well. They are not just faculty members but are mentors to students. Learned faculty works hard on students to get them placed in the best of the companies. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. As per my own experience, I can proudly say that faculty members at LPU put up their 100% in the development of students. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. This is very much helpful for students. At LPU we have designed a special system that focuses on the student and his innate learning capacities through varied media. The centerpiece of the system is our faculty who are not only renowned for their individual research work but are more like life guides and mentors, focused on helping students achieve their full potential. The academic and professional details about faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also act as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Being the alumni of LPU. I would like to share that the faculties at LPU always burn the midnight oil so that their students outshine in their respective fields as well as careers .LPU composed of the best faculties from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. Maximum faculties are PhD's or pursuing the same. One of the most interesting thing is that very recently LPU has propounded an app through which the students could communicate their grievances, discussions or other material could also be uploaded by the professors on it. I believe this is the best platform where the students could at point of time discuss anything to their faculties . This would also lead to the better understanding between between both the levels. Research papers, Book chapters, Patents are playing protagonist in the life of professors so this could also decline the gap between the professors and students. LPU has also collaborated with foreign faculties ,so the students are also getting the opportunities to interact with them .

To my experience, Lovely Professional University is always appreciated because of the faculty members, placement, and curriculum. As per my personal experience, I am able to observe such a level of thinking in a Management guy from Lovely Professional University. Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student to faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. LPU Faculty hired is at par as per the requirements of UGC. Hence one could go Government UGC site to be able to understand more details on this. Well, that's more of a judgemental question, nobody could be 100 % precise with this information. But overall, the quality of faculty members is good in almost all the reputed Universities across the country. Faculty members hold good industry experienced, hold related degrees, and are recruited through a tedious process. Though having such a qualification need not mean one can teach well, I agree with that, but the system of how the faculty's environment work is good. If a faculty is not giving his best or delivering good lectures then students have the free option to report the same to the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT and ultimately THE HEAD OF SCHOOL and GET THE TEACHER REPLACED or CHANGED. There are frequent feedback sessions and suggestions taken of the faculty members from the students on how well they are delivering in the classes. The curriculum is tough at times, but if you understand the system, then it's easy, it is also advanced. Hello Pravesh,LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. Pravesh, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students.
