How are the hostel facilities at LPU.

Residential Facilities available in the campus are one of the largest residential services and best in Asia it can accommodate more than 25000 students in various blocks and in various different seating options. There is a Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. Rooms with attached washroom (except in certain dormitory rooms), B.Ed (without mattress), table, chair and almirahs. Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted). Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. In campus Hospital with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only and subject to conditions. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the occupants of that room. The hostels are equipped with turnstile entry system and security guards, which ensures the safety. The campus is just kind of a self sustaining community, with all the amenities like Shopping mall, eateries, kiosks, Gymnasiums, Swimming pool, indoor and outdoor sports complex and many more.

The hostel have 1 seater, 2 seater ,4 seater,7 seater,8 seater,12 seater,14 seater,18 seater. Apart from hostel LPU have apartments they have canteen inside the hostel and paid laundry service at rate of 3000 per year. University have there own gym which cost 3000 per year. They give a facility of 45 minutes per day at a particular time slot. Gym trainers are experienced. Hostels have standard and basic food facility. Cost of standered is 30000 and basic is 23000 per year. The difference between basic and standard is basic don't provide snacks at evening and curd at lunch. The food is limited for basic consist of 3 chapaties, two spoon of rice. LPU has its own hospital which is free of cost. Only medicine cost you have to give. Ambulance service is also free. Hostel warden are so helpful. Whenever you have any complaint regarding anything then you can complaint it from your phone. It will get resolved within three days. LPU have library for students which consist of +1 lac books. Girls timing of hostel entry is 7 pm. After that, they can come to library with guard of their hostel.

Hello! I myself being a hostler in Lovely Professional University, I have spent 5 years of my amazing life at LPU. Can say that hostel life in LPU is pretty amazing. As I have stayed in hostels earlier, I am very much impressed with the facilities that we get here in LPU. To me the infrastructure plays an important role, so the environment, the surroundings that I get in here are peaceful. There are 6 hostel blocks for girls. 1, 2,3 and 4 blocks are attached, and are like a mini society in itself. We have a wonderful garden along with two basketball courts. There are 23 open gym under the hostel. LPU has the largest campus having the capacity of accommodating 25k+ students in the campus. LPU offers residential facilities to the students, staff and faculty members. Some of the facilities which LPU provide are: 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 4. Rooms are with B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser. 5 AC rooms are also available in the above category. 6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 7. Laundry facility 8. Gym facility to remain fit 9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 10. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi.

Hi. LPU provides separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus. At LPU there are 17 multi storeyed LPU has hostel accommodation for 28,000 students. Hostels with different types of rooms like dormitory, two seater, single seater, AC, non AC, etc. Available in the hostels. LPU's residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPUs residential Facilities are excellent in all terms. LPU residential facilities are considered one the largest in India. Residential facility at campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Turnstile Gates: The entry to residential facilities are regulated through automated turnstile (as in metro railway) and biometric machines and data is saved in computerized data base to track the movement of students/ visitors. LPU has zero tolerance to Ragging, Alcohol, smoking, drug and disciplinary misconduct. The students are provided with in house laundry, indoor stadium facility, medical assistance, and in house mentor support. Moreover, while staying in campus you will have an access to the library, internet connection, gym, sports stadiums and many other facilities provided by LPU to the hostellers.

Dear Menu, Hostel Facilities at LPU are very good, they have almost all the facilities which any student can ask for, be it a gym, salon, ATM, canteens, cafe, Mess with really hygienic and good food. 24/7 Wi-Fi connection 24/7 water supply and various other things. There are even playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket on hostel premises. And Following amenities are provided by LPU in their hostel rooms Attached Washroom B.Ed Study Table Plastic Chair Almirah one Geyser 1 AC/ 1 Air Cooler (As Applicable or preferred by student) The standard range of free electricity Units per Individual LPU provides apartment facilities too Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU are 1/ 2/ 3/ 4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below. There is attached wash room, air conditioner, and geyser is there in each room. Permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load up-to 5 ampere per apartment. In-campus Hospital facility is there with ambulance to provide medical assistance to students. Residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. How can one forget the hostel life the gossips with friends. Being an alumnus let me share with you the hostel facilities. The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent!
