How are the job opportunities after completing BE aeronautical engg.?

Going by some of the latest trends and researches, it can be easily put that India is all set to become the 3rd the largest aviation industry in the world and a global juggernaut by 2034. A global forecast made by Airbus in 2015 for the next two decades revealed that India will be needing a whopping 1600 passenger and freighter aircrafts to cater to the rising demand. Pegged at US$224 bn. The list will include 1,230 new single aisle aircraft and 380 wide-body passenger and freighter aircraft. By 2035, the number of Indian cities with over one million monthly air passengers will grow more than three times. So, going by this trend in numbers, it can easily be put that the Indian aeronautical industry is at the cusp of a major boom and there will be a huge demand for aeronautical engineers in India and the world over. Opting for a course in aeronautical engineering will therefore yield rich dividends. There are a lot of companies like Godrej & Boyce aerospace, L & T, Merlin Hawk Aerospace etc. who work in one of these areas (for eg. Godrej manufactures the liquid engines for ISRO, L & T makes the interstate structures for PSLV, and Computational Research Labs are into flow and thermal simulations for big foreign MNCs like Boeing and Lockheed). Hence, the scope of our work increases by manifolds, if we are flexible to work in any one of the areas of aerospace engineering. Foreign MNCs like Airbus, Cassidian, GE and Boeing have R & D labs in Bangalore, employing more than 5000 people with expertise generally in the areas of CFD, FEM, solid modelling.
