How are the labs at LPU for B.Tech CSE?

Being an alumni I would like to capture your attention on the following. A dedicated iMac lab with 33 iMac systems in the central part of the University (Block-37) to incorporate the academic needs of School of Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Applications and Journalism. The lab is housed in a very calm and learning environment with the State-of-the-Art furniture and amenities like projector, white-board, Audio-Visual aids, etc. All the iMac systems installed in this lab are of the model iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011) with OSX-EL-Capitan operating system installed. LPU is proud to be associated with Google Inc. within campus, Centre of Excellence for Mobile Application Development (Engineering) and Digital Marketing (MBA) Offers Android App Development and Digital Marketing certification exams: Mapped syllabus Dedicated Chrome Lab and multiple Systems directly connected with Google Cloud and easy access to The G Suite for Education (formerly called Google Apps for Education) Google Sponsored Technical events, open employment, entrepreneurship and consultancy opportunities for students. Enterprise resource planning is the key to success in the corporate world and taking into consideration LPU has established the latest SAP Labs and offering students with updated curriculum to learn technology under tie-up with SAP Education. The course curriculum is mapped with the certification offered by SAP on different modules like Programming (ABAP), HR, Financial Management, Stock Management, Production Management etc. All the courses cost around Lacs in the market, are being offered to the LPU students free of cost just because of collaboration of LPU with SAP Education.

For the students of B.Tech CSE, LPU has its own fully-fledged Apple IMac lab, CISCO lab which provides exposure to the latest software as well as the development of advanced projects for I- Mac machines. The lab is designed for exposure in the field of automation and robotics by working on various pneumatic systems and CNC machines. Digital VLSI Design Lab State-of-the-art Industry version EDA Tools from Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics, and Xilinx & Altera FPGA Development Kits, Verilog, VHDL Design & Simulation Tools. Every year students develop various applications and enhance their capabilities to meet the industry demands as soon as they pass out from LPU. The latest stats show that the highest package was 42 Lacs offered by Microsoft offered 42 lac per annum. Amazon also recruited from LPU at Rs 28 Lacs package. Its alumni are working in top companies like Google and Facebook at record packages of 1 crore. Almost all the top companies in this domain visit the campus during placements including TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. So obviously rest assured that you will get some great career opportunities here. As for the curriculum under B.Tech in CSE is one of the very few universities that offer you options even within the CSE branch.
