How are the MBA placements at Goa University?

Over the past few years, Goa University has been ranked under multiple streams namely Management, Engineering, Computer Application, Pharmacy, etc. A few of the important Goa University rankings are mentioned below:

The placement report is yet to be released for the Class of 2023. However, Goa University has released the NIRF report 2023 on its official website. According to the report,  77 PG 2-year and 39 PG 3-year students were placed during Goa University placements 2022.

Further, the median package offered to PG 2-year and PG 3-year students during Goa University placements 2022 was INR 2.34 and INR 1.20 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of Goa University during the past years included Syngenta Biosciences, Deccan Fine Chemicals, Godrej,  Wipro, HCL,  etc..

Goa University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. For admission to PG courses, the university conducts its in-house entrance exam, i.e.,  GU-ART, GU-QET-, GU-CLAT, etc. or accepts national-level exams such as CMAT/ ATMA for a course like MBA. Goa University admission cycle begin in May/ June with registration. 

Goa University offers various UG, PG and doctoral-level courses at campur or through affiliated colleges. The university offers UG courses such as BA, BBA, BSc, etc., through its affiliated colleges, while all the PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, etc., are taught through various schools and departments at the university. 

Established in 1985, Goa University is accredited with 'B+' Grade by NAAC and approved by UGC. The university has been ranked in the band 151-200 under the 'University' category by the NIRF Ranking 2024. Goa University, through its 10 schools of study and 60+ affiliated colleges, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and PhD courses to students. These courses are offered across Science, Management, Commerce, and other streams.
