    Hello Sai,
Mechanical department is very crowded in LPU that presents a lot of difficulty as you cannot get them all placed. You have to be extra ordinary ('extra' is in literal sense). None of my friends, acquaintances, friends of friends; acquaintances of acquaintances got placement from LPU or any kind of help. I must tell you that a lot of them are intelligent and are now in NIT's, army, MNCs, etc. Every one of them helped themselves and got jobs because of their talent or references. Moreover, time may be tougher in coming future seeing market crunch and dearth in employability. If not taken admission yet invest your money carefull

Placement in LPU is a very tricky affair. You've to join summer classes which will be paid. If you'll not go for these classes, you'll be debarred from placement opportunities. They'll teach you certain things in those classes, which I found totally redundant. Mechanical department is very crowded in LPU which present a lot of difficulty as you cannot get them all placed. Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization.
