How are the placements and internship for BJMC at LPU?

The journalism and mass communication courses at LPU are highly result oriented and developed as per the demands, consultations and feedback by industry itself. Hi Shubham, the students apply for internships with various media houses for which the university provides a training letter to the students. The letter facilitates them to get an internship with the company. As for placements, LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Lovely Professional University is offering BJMC programme. <p>Dear Reader,</p><p>This programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media. Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography etc. which necessary in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication.</p><ul><li>Application of media concepts and research tools effectively and efficiently to handle various assignments in the world of mass media</li><li>Research, analyze and interpret data for the construction of media messages.</li><li>&nbsp;Training. skill and craft makes a student industry ready and to take up the freelance jobs.</li></ul><p>For the placements and Internship we have a dedicated cell i.e Division of career services and Placement cell who looks after the placements . It totally depends upon students performance during placement drives.</p><p>67% of the students of BJMC got placed with a maximum package of CTC up to Rs 8 LPA (TRIDENT GROUP)and an average package of Rs. 4.4 LPA till Jan 2024.</p>
