How are the placements and salary packages at GKM College of Engineering and Technology (GKMCET)?

<p>The placements and salaries in GKM College of Engineering and Technology (GKMCET) vary heavily based on the course or specialisation. As per 2023 placement statistics, the median salary for fresh graduates was about INR 3.10 Lacs per annum, mostly for B.E. Computer Science Engineering students. However, the highest salary they were offered was about INR 75,000 monthly, and the lowest was approximately INR 25,000 monthly.<br>Reputation about placements at the college is mixed; though some reviews comment that around 80% to 95% of students get placed, some other reviews comment that placements could be a bit less for some branches. <p>The placement statistics of GKM College of Engineering and Technology are really promising. In the year 2022, 94.74% could get placements. Amongst 111 students, 72 were placed. The median salary offered was INR 3.10 lakh per annum. Companies hosted and recruit directly from college: IT majors and all core engineering firms. To date, the highest package that has been reported is around INR 44 lakh and average around INR 5 lakh annually.</p>
