How are the placements at Lovely Professional University for the present scenario?

Placements at LPU are very good. Mine own brother got placed from LPU only last year. We had long discussion on this topic. Let me share with you what we conclude: Companies keep on visiting throughout the semester for all branches. LPU has very good system and policies of placement. Every student get a chance to sit in placement activities. You will get opportunity to work for the Top brands leading the market but University can only invite companies so it will be depending upon you to get placed by performing best. And LPU team conduct placement sessions for students who will be going for placements to improve their performance and help them to gain relevant knowledge to crack interviews and for that we bring highly experienced and knowledgeable trainers. From August of your final year till you complete your degree on a regular basis companies visit campus for placements. It would be a good choice to opt for LPU as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all-round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. Lovely Professional University, has become the landing place of many leading industries for recruitment. LPU has many top rankings in placements. Dear Arman, Every student dreams to get placed in renowned companies from college/University itself. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Now, Being a alumni of LPU I would like share my experience in Lovely Professional university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India programme. Being an alumni of LPU, I must say that, LPU is always pro-active for providing the best placement opportunity to its student. During my tenure in LPU, I got the opportunity to work very closely as Student Placement Coordinator in LPU. Every year more than 550 companies used to visit LPU for placement purpose. As per my analysis, LPU is conferred with High Ranking by various outer agencies like following, 1)National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row. 2)Outlook has ranked LPU 5th among top 50 private Universities in India in terms of Placement. 3)Business today ranked among top 100 Private State Universities in India in Placement Performance category. The university has a dedicated department that looks into the grooming of students. The department teaches soft skills, verbal ability, and analytical ability. The students have to pay a fee to sit in the campus placement interview. Even the first-year students can sit in placement interviews. Recently, over 5000 students recorded a video saying I am thankful to LPU for making us a part of its the largest placement network, I am proud to be a Verto. LPU has one of the best placement records in the whole of India and that is why students want to join LPU to get placed. Right from Google to Microsoft, LPU alumni are working with the top brands at the package of 1 crore and above. Annually, more than 450 brands come to LPU to recruit students, where 90% of them are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from the LPU campus and has been titled with the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row by India's top talent company Aspiring Minds. Barring few names in the south, there is hardly any colleges that can boast of such tall records.
