Admission to the respective courses is offered based on merit and entrance. Therefore, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% in Class 12 for admission to various UG level programme. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. In addition to this, PESU Bangalore considers valid scores of various entrance exams accepted with respect to the course of choice, such as KCET, JEE Main, GATE, MAT, CAT, CMAT, CLAT and other equivalent exams.

BSc is provided in 10+ specialisations such as Cardiac Care Technology, Dialysis Therapy Technology, Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, and others. Courses such as MTech,  MCA, MBA, and MPharm are provided at the postgraduate level. M.Tech is offered in various specialisations such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and others.
