How are the placements for a B.Tech mechanical student at LPU?

LPU is certainly one of the best private universities in India. The course design of B Tech Mechanical at LPU focuses on the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) The course aims at enabling the student to Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools. He should have the ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. He should acquire the Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using a basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer, and Fluid Mechanics. He should demonstrate the ability to propose cost-effective optimized solutions using simulated environments of Computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-aided engineering. The highest salary package offered to mechanical branch students is 31 LPA, while the average salary is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bosch, ONGC, Ashok Leyland, Hitachi, etc.

If a candidate has not studied English as a subject, the prerequisite of English may be waived if the candidate has studied in English medium during his qualifying test. (5 percent relaxation for candidates from the North-East and Sikkim/Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Kashmir Migrant Wards). Mechanical student placement at LPU is good, with a few core employers offering competitive packages. However, internship programmes and participation in various events and expos will provide you with valuable experience at LPU.

The placements of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at LPU are commendable. My friend also got placed at LPU after B.Tech in ME in an MNC. Let me share a few more about the placements with you. The highest package offered for the programme is 31 LPA. Some of the companies that visited LPU for mechanical engineering are - BOSCH ENGINEERING AND BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LTD BOSCH AND SIEMENS HOME APPLIANCES GROUP BSHG DRISHTI SOFT SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ANGLO EASTERN SHIP MANAGEMENT LTD etc. LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Recently, LPU achieved the Guinness World Records title of "the largest online video album of people saying the same sentence, " where students are thanking LPU for making them a part of its the largest PLACEMENT NETWORK! If you are looking for a university in Punjab then Chandigarh University is the best place to be. High-quality, industry-oriented curriculum, Extremely qualified doctorate faculty with impeccable research record, industry-collaborated laboratories, world-class infrastructure, support for extracurricular, engagement in sports, etc., are some of the highlights of the CSE Department at Chandigarh University. It is definitely better than LPU. Chandigarh University is one of the best private universities in the North Region who accredited with NAAC A+ grade. It provides wonderful placements and golden opportunities for students. Placements: 95% of the students are placed. The highest package offered is 32 Lacs, the lowest package offered 4 Lacs and the average package offered is 5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Wipro, etc. The students got an internship in Microsoft, Google, Wipro, IBM. Good companies provide good jobs.

In LPU placement for mechanical student is decent, few core companies came with good package. But in LPU you will get experience through internship programs, participating various events and expos. Apart from all these many companies (tech mehindra, tcs etc. ). Hired mechanical students.

Depends on your skills. LPU has good network of placement cell. If you are doing accurate career and selecting proper courses during engineering. You will be paid very high.

Being LPU alumni I would recommend B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, I am sharing my friend review regarding this course, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go kart Championship which is a student initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. School of Mechanical Engineering organized an International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICRAME), in which experts from leading brands like Maruti Suzuki, Biomimicry India were present.
