Shiv Nadar University is relatively a new set up and has a much different course curriculum in comparison to all other universities in India.
From what I have heard, the students are open to select any elective and are not bound to follow any rules.
The average placement for students is around 4 to 5 lacs with the highest salary being offered to be that of 12 lacs with the top recruiters being HCL, Amazon, Dell, Banktec.
It has more of a free atmosphere where knowledge circulates among the teachers and students.
Although most of the placements are in the reputed mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant.
Also, this college has the add

Shiv Nadar University is one of the best colleges in Delhi emerging as one of the good colleges. But placements are expected to be above average with good companies coming.
Almost everyone from CSE who opted for placements have a job in hand with an average package of Rs 3.5 LPA. Although some renowned companies like Dell, HP, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys and TCS too came for campus placements and offered CTC ranging from Rs 6-20 LPA.
Out of 226 students who opted for industry placements, 215 started their careers with industry giants like Cognizant, Mitsubishi, Larsen & Toubro, Amazon, IBM, Risk Management Solutions, PricewaterhouseCoopers,

    Hi,
To be honest, the placements here are not amazing but they are not bad too. Few students do manage to get into huge companies like Amazon, Dell, TCS etc. I believe one should not judge Shiv Nadar University on the basis of placements. It has so much to offer. The courses, faculty, knowledge, facilities and moreover a fantastic experience. SNU, being a multidisciplinary university, helps a student find his/her area of interest. Even if you're a B.Tech student, you can still do courses from History, Economics and Sociology. The amount of freedom and flexibility here is just amazing. SNU does not disappoint when it comes to academics.
