How are the placements for BA in journalism and mass communication? Which companies visit this college for placements?

Placements are good. Approximately 90% students got placed in the campus. Companies like radio mirchi,finesse media services ltd,teleperformance india pvt ltd,think and learn,Asian news international and many more visited the campus.

Private universities are difficult places to get stable jobs. Media is in need of skilled workforce and students with strong interests in work. But, the levels are low and private universities sometimes fail to convince companies. I agree the LPU made a name now but there has been a time when the mass communication department was being closed as well.

Hi Amit, LPU is producing smart and intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For e.g.: I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. LPU provides teaching by Doctorate faculty along with the handful practical study by experienced professionals. The program is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic and New Age Media. The main Focus is on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. He told me School of Education, Lovely Professional University- LPU is a leading teacher education institution in northern India. The school offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level. The courses are recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government.
