    NIT, Tiruchirappalli has a reputation for having the best chemical department in all of the NIT present in India.
    That being said, I would like to suggest you that you should only take up chemical engineering if you are passionate about the field and not considering the placement as a factor of your choice. Chemical course at NIT, Tiruchirappalli would be a fun course for you as any other student of the college.
    The college managers to have a total batch placement percentage of 100% and almost every student gets placed at which level company he wishes to be placed at. A lot of core companies also visit the campus and are offering high

    Broadly expressing, chemical engineering program revolves encompassing the concept of application of chemistry in the day to day lives as well as manufacturing processes.     The percentage of students placed was 95 percent. For the Chemical department, it was 95 percent in 2016 and a whopping record of 100 percent in 2017. The major talked about companies that came for recruitment are Volvo, Larsen and Turbo, Tata chemicals, Bajaj, Birla Cellulose and Raymond, and Arvind Group.     The placements at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli of chemical engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is around 80% placement.

    NIT, Trichy is surely known for its placements and is ranked first among all NITs for a reason. In 2016 the percentage of total students placed was 96.7 percent. For the Mechanical department, it was 95.5 percent for in 2016 and a whopping 100 percent in 2017.     Chemical engineering branch is a branch which has not firmly made it grasp in India. If you have an interest or if you like chemical engineering branch then only you should go for it otherwise it would be very difficult for you to get a job or get placed in core companies.
    National Institute of Technology-Tiruchirappalli is one of the best government colleges of India and it ranks in top 10 engineering colleges in India.
