Placements for Mechanical Engineering at LPU are generally good, though they tend to be slightly less competitive than those for CS/IT programs due to the higher demand for tech professionals in the industry. Mechanical Engineering students typically secure placements in sectors like manufacturing, automotive, construction, energy, and core engineering companies such as L&T, Tata Motors, and Siemens. The average salary package for mechanical engineering graduates at LPU is typically lower compared to CS/IT. In contrast, CS/IT placements are generally more lucrative, with students often being recruited by tech giants like Google, A

LPU has a strong track record for placements in both Mechanical Engineering and CS/IT. However, due to the high demand for computer science and information technology professionals in the current job market, placements in these fields might be slightly higher compared to Mechanical Engineering.

It's important to note that individual placement success can also depend on factors such as the student's academic performance, skills, and the specific companies recruiting at the time of graduation.

Additionally, LPU's focus on industry-oriented curriculum and hands-on learning can enhance placement opportunities for students in both fields.
