According to the student reviews, placement for law students is not that good compared to the other NLUs because the syllabus is UPSC and judiciary based. More than half of students are UPSC and PCS (J) aspirants. Only a few students are placed in corporate sectors. However, this university has a rich alumni network namely Justice Syed Murtaza Fazl Ali, who has been a judge at Jammu & Kashmir High court and Supreme Court of India, Abdul Hakeem Khan, Chief Justice of Pakistan and many other judges of Supreme Court of India.
