How are the placements in LPU and Manipal?

LPU provides quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Microsoft. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculty members. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course which improves the learning experiences of its students.

<p>The year 2025 saw LPU attain a remarkable 95% placement rate, with offer letters from more than 6,000 students from over 2,225 recruiters such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS. The maximum package went up to ₹3 crore (for international placement)/₹2.5 crore (for domestic placement), while averages for the best 10% across streams hovered around ₹12-15 LPA. The earlier stats for Mechanical Engineering showed 84.69% placement with ₹20 LPA being the highest with Bosch and L&amp;T being associated quite strongly.</p>

Hello! LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I have learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure, excellent placements and all required resources to students and staff. I highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. Lovely Professional University is always applauded in terms of placements. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. Placements depends equally on student as on University. LPU trains the student so well that cracking any interview is a cake walk. Placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Amazon, Adobe, etc. Come for recruitment purpose. Most of the CSE students are placed in good companies with high package. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students have been offered package as high as 1 Crore pa. Not only this, but the university has also set up a high tech lab. S and studios for the benefit of students. Hi Venkatesh, I can not say much about Manipal University but I am damn sure that they are doing good in their Zone. Yes but I can endorse the flaunting of LPU in which they are generally very loud and clear that not less than IIT's, Iims, NLU's, AIHM's etc. There are 365 days in an year but LPU witness more than 600 companies to conduct Campus placement Drive. Which means students SEE Placement Drives going on at every alternate days. LPU says that they provide 100 % placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. Many times I saw them advertising them that their students are at more 1 crore packages. All the best for your future.

Hello! I can't say anything about Manipal University, being an Alumni of LPU, I can say when it comes to placements you should not worry at all, when you are enrolled at LPU. I am LPU alumni and currently working with HCL. I would like to share my experience with you regarding placement. I will not be biased to LPU, but will tell you the exact reality and industry expectations. Placement is something, which depends on both the student as well the college or university you are studying in. Both the parties, Student and University have to give their inputs then only, you can good placement.First let me talk about University or college, In case of placement the job of university is to get the best company for campus placement or get the students connected to maximum no. of companies. Another most important job of the university is to prepare the student well for placements. This is one of the most important job to be taken care by the university.Just connecting the student to the company is not enough, preparing the student for the cracking the interview is more important. I being the LPU alumni, really appreciate the efforts of the Placement Enhancement Programs team for preparing the students from the first semester itself.They focus on not only the technical part but also on other aspects of cracking the interview. LPU faculties prepare the student from scratch, focusing upon their communication skills, dressing sense,preparing CV, addressing seniors, responding questions, handling situation and many more. LPU prepares the student to such level, that at the later stage of your life, if you are planning to switch, such tips and tricks will be your saviour. So, At LPU , you will be no. of opportunities to give your best. Now, Secondly Student is suppose to prepare himself/herself for the interview. You need to maintain the minimum eligibility required. Also, you need to focus upon building the resume. Participate in as many as extra curricular activities. At LPU you will be given no. of platforms to build up your resume. Another important factor towards placement is Training and Internship. At, LPU internship is a part of curriculum so, it is mandatory to attend. LPU also helps you in fetching the best training and internship option. Many of the LPU students even get the Pre Placement offer. As per my knowledge, both the universities provide good placements to the students. Being an alumni of LPU, I know more about LPU placements, LPU does provide good placements. A lot of top recruiters visit the LPU campus for hiring the students, such as Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, and many other companies. Some time back, Amazon recruited 3 LPU students with a record package of 28 LPA. Also, 9 students were placed in VMware. Startups like Think & Learn and Practo has offered students dream packages of 5-10 LPA. Cognizant alone has hired over 1800 LPU students in the past. More than 550 companies are visiting LPU for recruitment. In addition to this, more than 40 companies have offered dream packages to the students of the university. The companies visiting the campus have only increased over the years. The university has been recognised by digital Learning for having the highest placement record in Northern India in the year 2018. You can SEE that the university puts in every effort to bring the best companies for campus recruitment, but it is only up to the student to make the most of these opportunities.
