How are the placements in School of Management Manipal?

Dear arjun, The average take-home package went up from last year’s Rs 8.41 lakhs to Rs 8.70 lakhs this year. The top domestic offer for Rs 14.55 lakhs was extended by Microsoft. Moreover, one international firm recruited two students with a package of Rs 15 lakhs. The total number of Pre-placement Offers (PPOs) received by TAPMI Manipal students this year was 18. A sector-wise distribution of the placements is provided below. From the Information Technology (IT)/IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector, 30 firms participated and recruited 41.1% of the students. The Consulting domain had nine firms taking part in the placements that hired 15.09% of the students. The Banking and Financial Institutions sector was represented by 18 companies which recruited 15.34% of the batch. From the Manufacturing domain, 9 companies hired 8.7 % of the students. The participants in the placement process included firms from few other sectors as well, such as, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Analytics, e-commerce, m-commerce, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Logistics, Telecom and Education Training.
