How are the placements in SRM College for B.E (mechanical engineering) and what are the job opportunities for this course?

SRM University is a self financing, totally for profit institution. Every thing is a revenue making model. Low quality food is served in hostels so that students will eat junk food at Java Green again owned by goons of the university. It is recently in news for defrauding large number of students to the tune of 90 crores and the owner cum chancellor is arrested and the final verdict is yet to be given in the court of law. The internal marks are 50- which you can buy in some departments. There is allegations that the question papers are leaked or compromised in many instances. You should take admission in HIT. The placement record of srm university is also good. It provides you better placement opportunity in the last year of college. But skills are more preferred for job. You need to be practical about your study.

Dear Dhanraj, Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. As far as Mechanical engineering is concerned, I can tell you this course carries extra baggage and it is very fruitful if you choose LPU as a medium. I would like to share their experiences:- A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in students in addition to giving them international exposure. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement.
