The Banaras Hindu University offers postgraduate degree and Diploma courses in mass communication. Of these, the M.A. Mass communication is the most popular. The placements in this course are good, and as per alumni:
    1. Top news agencies like Zee News and ABP News visit BHU to offer job placement.
    2. The placement rate is average, with close to 60 percent in the past year.
    3. There were some falls in placement during the COVID phase at BHU, but now placement is improving.
    4. You can expect a starting salary of around Rs. 20,000 per month in the initial period.
    5. Your salary package highly depends on your academic scores and performance
