How are the placements of B.Arch at Allana College of Architecture?

As LPU alumni, mi can share detail of LPU B. arch programmes LPU is amongst the Top 5 School of Architecture, Design and Planning disciplines in India and the top 100 schools globally by 2025 by becoming a Center of design excellence in Academics, Consultancy and Research. LPU School of Architecture and Design is among Punjab's best colleges and ranked among top ten promising architecture institutes of India by Higher Education Review. LPU trains its students to become lateral thinkers by focusing on the critical design approach. With exposure to an international environment, access to the latest tools, software and technology, students become architects that create buildings and infrastructure that are globally acknowledged. One of my friend told me students documented the buildings and learning from Live Case Examples during experiential learning week.

Hi Dhanya,,I would say LPU is amongst the Top 5 School of Architecture, Design and Planning disciplines in India and the top 100 schools globally by 2025 by becoming a Centre of design excellence in Academics, Consultancy and Research. My sister has completed B. Architecture from LPU itself. I am sharing few points which will help you to take decision:- Students participates in campus and out campus competitions are held frequently. Hands-on experience on Low Construction Techniques, IGBC Student organisation activities etc. Innovative Pedagogy: Emphasis on case studies and Case based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Co-Curricular & Extra Curricular Activities: Students participates in campus and out campus competitions are held frequently. Hands on experience on Low Construction Techniques, IGBC Student organisation activities etc. Students are taken to educational tours to complement in-class learning. B.Arch and Diploma students gained an exciting learning experience through Tool House Workshop in Mumbai and, a guided trip to Sanchi Stupa in Madhya Pradesh. Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to academic life. Educational field visits proposed to understand different architectural styles. Mughal Architecture, Sikh Architecture, South Architectural style. Seminars and guest lectures by experienced and professional architects are held frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students are given a lot of on-job training as well as work on projects where they can earn also. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department.
