How are the placements of B.Pharma in LPU?

Deepnashu, My cousin sister has completed same course from Lovely Professional University and her experience at LPU was amazing. She said,With quality education, students are provided industry internships and workshops on various courses and studies like Drug Regulatory Affairs, Computer-Aided Drug Designing (CADD) etc, which helps students get the practice or industry experience and happenings. LPU provides students with platforms to get their research paper to find the correct platform and get it verified and patented as well.Industry visits and guest lectures are an integral part of the course curriculum which does give students the practical approach needed to understand the course. Full term dissertation course helps develop research aptitude in the areas of community health services and emerging pharmaceutical industry needs. The curriculum of this course lays strong emphasis on in-depth knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of ayurvedic pharmacy resulting in the Knowledge Enhancement There are more number of workshops being conducted on Drug Regulatory Affairs (DRA), Intellectual Property Rights(IPR), Computer Aided Drug Designing (CADD), validation and instrumentation's helps develop research skills in students. The placement scene in Pharmacy is very bright in LPU because the students are being exposed to a lot research and their research papers being published. The students will get other job positions as Clinical Research Scientist, Intellectual Property Rights(IPR) Analyst, Medical Writers, Scientific Advisor and Administrator in bulk drug industries and KPOs.Higher studies in India and abroad can be pursued.

Amanda and Amanjot selected by Freyr Solutions for the position of Business Development Executive with a package of 4 LPA. Abott selected Lavi, Monika and, Sourav at a package of 3.75 LPA. 2 Students Shortlisted In GlaxoSmithKline At 3.59 LPA 2 LPU students Ave & Neha got shortlisted for the position of Medical Business Associates at GlaxoSmithKline with a package of 3.59 LPA.

Talking about the percentage around 70% were placed and the rest went for either off campus, higher studies or government sector jobs. Moreover, the average package is 3-4 lakh per annum whereas the highest went upto 7 lakh per annum. Major companies that visted are Cipla and Abott .

The highest salary availed by LPU students was 6 LPA while the average salary was 3.8 LPA. Two students of the university got placed in Freyer Solutions while two others got shortlisted in GlaxoSmithKline. Others got placed with top brands including Abbott, VLCC healthcare, Nestle, Cadila, Ravenbhel, Max Super Speciality Hospitals, Dr. Lal Path Labs, etc.
