    You won't stand a chance to get into a Biotech company if you happen to graduate from the college of Chandigarh University being just an undergraduate student unless you have an extraordinary profile. Almost 60% of the total batch gets placed in some of the reputable IT companies, marketing firms and banking jobs which makes it a total waste of the sheer hard work and everything a student went through to get a biotechnology degree from the college.     There is no B.Tech degree being offered from Chandigarh University for biotech. They are currently offering B.Sc and M.Sc degree in biotechnology

    So I cannot comment about the placement as there is only B.Sc degree and not engineering degree in biotechnology.
    Otherwise, placement records of Chandigarh University:
    Highest package- 22.5 Lacs
    Minimum package-3.5 Lacs offers to Chandigarh University
    Just go through the link of Chandigarh University. It does not offer B.Tech degree in biotechnology.

    Let me be straight and honest with you. You won't stand a chance to get into a Biotech company if you happen to graduate from the college of Chandigarh University being just an undergraduate student unless you have an extraordinary profile.

    The placements of this department is quite good, but the faculty is not that much qualified that has to be. So, students learn themselves from open sources like coursera and udacity.
