First of all, you should not expect that you'll be placed in a core company once you finish your degree from Dehradun Institute of Technology as it fails to attract any except Amazon which recruits one or two from the college.
Although, association with IBM for the computer science course is an added advantage but is nowhere going to help you because of the quality of companies visiting the campus during the placement drive.

Depending on what branch you are from, you'll have a different remark about the placements of DIT. They consider a cut off of about 60-65% of total UG score and 70% of your batch will be eligible for placements. Average package is Rs 3.25 LPA which is offered by companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. Although the word around the campus is that the contract of Infosys ends this year and TCS will be coming to campus from next year. Mostly BPO visit the campus.
