How are the placements of B.Tech (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT, Jamshedpur?

National Institute of Technology-Jamshedpur (NIT-J) is amongst the top NITs. NIT-Jamshedpur has good placement record for Computer Science and Engineering. The average package for CSE is around 8 lakhs per annum. The highest package was 27 LPA (PPO offered by Amazon). Many students got off campus placement. Companies visited the campus last year: 1. The placements from NIT Jamshedpur are well and quality oriented. Though the placements from B.Tech are good, still the specialisation in the degree adds up to the chances of a quality placement. The placement statistics from NIT Jamshedpur is around 8 Lacs per annum lowest being 3 lakhs and highest up to 15 lakhs in the computer science branch. The data is extracted from the recent placement scenario. One need around 240 marks in JEE Mains to get into NIT-Jamshedpur for computer science B.Tech (Hons.). NIT Jamshedpur is though not that much vibrant when talked about its campus, but has a nice academic curriculum and appreciable support from staff and management regarding any difficulties. Being a government funded institution, the faculty members are well experienced and qualified which one need not to worry about. Also, NIT stands at about 11th position among all so one can go for distance education but from the extreme points of India, as it will not worth sacrificing a lot for NIT Jamshedpur. Rather try to get any state government college which is feasible according to your location and comfort.
