B.Tech (Hons.) with Computational Science in ICT is one of the two branches offered in DAIICT and every year, the cutoffs for CS branch are higher as compared to the traditional ICT branch reason being the scope for further job opportunities as well as further studies. Students from both the streams appear for the placement drive together. The process of placement includes series of tests and interview rounds that check overall technical knowledge of students. The placements offered in DAIICT overall are pretty good and the tech giants coming to recruit students include all the Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies like Amazon, Sprinkler, Morgan Stanley, Directi, Endurance International, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Teal Labs, Juniper Computer Networks, Practo, Oracle, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Qualcomm, Kivi, etc. The highest package offered during a placement season is around Rs 25 - 30 lakh. In 2017, the highest salary package given to student was Rs 27 lakh. Also, most of the students appearing for the recruitment drive get placed, out of 300 students appearing, around 250+ students get placed.
