Frankly speaking, there are no such placements in aeronautical engineering at MIT Manipal. Instead, students opting for this branch go either for further studies or get a job in IT companies which might be irritating if you love aeronautical engineering. Though teachers, staff, students all are good, even students have projects like AeroMIT, Swapaksh which have won several prizes in different competitions but rarely students get placed in core companies.
This is just because in aeronautical engineering companies need a very skilled employee. So placement in this field is generally for post graduate students.
    Thanks and regards.

Placements are the external point when you enter the college but until that time the college makes sure that they provide the best placement all over the world. This means never believe the college website.
Placements are not very good although. Most companies need a higher level of knowledge and specialization for such an advanced field. So, not many companies come for undergraduate students. The professors will always be willing you to help with internships in companies where you can build your own contacts and get a job.
The teachers in the college are very best at its field and help you in every problem but again to be on the safer
