I agree that the university has had a few problems (emphasis on HAD). Most of the students are very happy with the faculty. Placements are decent here (not as bad as you portray). Please see the reports of placement cycle of 2018.

Placements In terms of return on investment are not as good. The placements start with 2.5 LPA which is not good for a B.Tech student. Average package offered is around 3-4 LPA.
