    SASTRA University conducts the admission in two streams. In the stream 1, 70% of seats are allotted based on the candidates' JEE (Main) scores and 10+2 marks. The remaining 30% seats are allotted based on 10+2 or equivalent marks scored by the candidates, after that the counselling process.
    Courses offered by SASTRA University:
    Aerospace Engineering
    Bio-Engineering
    Biotechnology
    Civil Engineering
    Chemical Engineering
    Computer science and engineering, etc.
    Placements are also good. 80% placements are there in Sastra University, whenever students leave the college they have a good job, they have been recruited for top MNCs in India and abroad. S

    SASTRA University is located in Thanjavur and it is accredited by NAAC.
    It is ranked 65 in the list of top colleges of India by 'the week'.
    It offers many courses out of which aerospace engineering is the course in which it offers about 126 to the students.
    It is well known for its good infrastructure knowledgeable faculty with experience of teaching and many facilities like Wi-Fi Sports Complex and labs with better equipments and machines.

    Total Course Fee:- 4.57Lakh
    Admission through JEE Mains
    Aerospace Engineering branch is one among the newly established branches in SASTRA.
    Average Salary:- Rs 4.2 Lakh Per annum
    Highest Salary:- Rs 9.00 Lakh per annum
    Almost all student get placed whose overall score is more than 60%

    The opportunities for aerospace engineering are very limited in India and so is the reason why this is very narrow in our country.
    If you only want to get into a core aerospace engineering company, you have to get admission at Indian Institute of Science for your Masters programme, it is the only institute worthy of pursuing aerospace engineering at.
    Regarding Sastra University, the aerospace programme started in the previous year and no batch has passed until now or will pass in the coming 2 years from now.

    SASTRA University is a private university and renowned for its consistent performance for many years.
    It stands among the top rankings colleges in NIRF, but according to me, the rankings are not enough to get a person a good package especially in the field such as aerospace which is still finding its scope in India at a large corporate level.
    Following the culture, SASTRA University offers the most and highest package for the core branches that are CSE, EC and IT. For the students of the aerospace branch, it is very difficult to get a quality placement in their stream of interest.

    SASTRA University (Shanmuga Arts, Science, Technology, and Research Academy) is located at Thanjavur.
    It is a good university which is gaining more reputation these days. It may be due its fee structure which is more affordable than the other private colleges.
